Mantis Bro

To be fair, this is probably a female mantis, but I enjoy calling it Mantis Bro.

I was sitting at my computer when I saw a shadow beyond the curtains. It momentarily scared me because I haven't seen a mantis around here in forever.

My mom let the plants outside my window grow however they wanted and it's turned into a great place for bugs. Even saw a big grasshopper in there which is another thing I haven't seen in a long time because there's very little tall grass around here anymore.

So Mantis Bro hung around for a while and went up the side of the house. Which is weird. I don't know what it thought it was going to find. But when it got to the siding near the roof, it couldn't get a grip and started back down.

My mom grabbed a stick and brought it back down to the plants cause we figured it was a sitting duck for a bird.
